About Countrywide Housing

    Incorporated in July 2014 with Registration No. 1206658, Countrywide Housing Company (CHC) was set up to provide creative housing solutions for Upper Lower; to Upper Middle class citizens nationwide using various models that will deliver affordable housing to its target market. CHC as a property and development company is promoted by Institutional Investors with a core mission to provide affordable housing and real estate investment opportunities to all Nigerians. We seek out investment property with latent value, and make it available for our wide customer base. We pride ourselves with the ability to make real estate investment affordable for any investor.

CHC is a Holding Company through which projects that require individual funding are initiated. We deliver returns to Holding Company (Hold Co.) and project investors through revenue generated across multiple stages of property development. We secure funding from the capital market, equity investors and regulated organizations.

We are focused on the development of 100,000 residential properties over the next 5 years by acting as a catalyst targeting areas across the housing value chain. In order to create a suitable land-bank for projects, CHC involves government to expedite land acquisition process, manage land bank, secure title documents and reduce bottlenecks. We draw on resources and capabilities across the sector to ensure impact in areas of focus and influence areas outside of our control

CHC creates a commercially driven vehicle in response to market demand with the intent of having a significant impact on home ownership levels in Nigeria. We undertake market analysis on a project by project basis to determine viability of housing type, location, price and customer demand. Through accessing an increasing mortgage market and facilitating the development of high quality housing at optimal price points, CHC provides middle of the pyramid consumers the opportunity to own homes directly for the first time.

We target customers located in states with high economic activity, high density and spending power such as Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Rivers, Oyo, Abia, Cross River and Ogun. Therefore, we undertake market studies in each state in advance of development to understand customer preferences and inform development requirements.
